Role Overview:
As the Director of Business Development for the C2C segment, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business expansion and increasing our customer base.
You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives to capitalize on market opportunities, establish strong partnerships, and enhance our global logistics offerings.
Your focus will be on identifying and securing new business opportunities while nurturing existing customer relationships to achieve sustainable growth and profitability.
Key Functions:
C2C Market Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive market strategy that targets the C2C segment, identifying key opportunities, competitive advantages, and potential challenges.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Business Growth and Expansion:
Drive the expansion of the C2C customer base, tapping into untapped markets and forging strategic partnerships with relevant stakeholders.
Seek out opportunities to enter new geographies and develop tailored logistics solutions for our C2C clients.
Customer Acquisition and Relationship Management:
Lead efforts to acquire new C2C customers through effective prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
Cultivate strong, long- lasing relationships with existing customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded through exceptional service delivery.
Revenue Generation:
Set ambitious revenue targets for the C2C segment and work relentlessly to achieve and exceed these goals.
Implement pricing strategies and negotiate contracts to maximize profitability while delivering value to customers.
Collaborative Leadership:
Foster a collaborative and high-performing business development team.
Provide mentorship, guidance and support to team members, empowering them to achieve individual and collective success.
Sales Performance Management:
Develop and implement KPIs to track and measure the effectiveness of business development efforts.
Regularly analyze sales performance data and use it to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Industry Networking and Representation:
Represent the Company in industry events, conferences, and trade shows, building our brand presence and expanding our network within the C2C logistics space.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and challenges in the C2C segment and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Who You Are:
Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or Director, with a track record of driving business growth in the logistics or related industry.
In-depth understanding of the global logistics landscape and the C2C segment, with a keen eye for emerging trends and opportunities.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team towards achieving shared objectives.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities, with a customer- centric approach to business development.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful market strategies that drive revenue growth.
Proactive and results-oriented, with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
