Licensed Practical Nurse, Personal Care, Bronx, (Per Diem)

OverviewAssures client satisfaction and optimizes company growth through timely and appropriate responses to client requests.
Monitors and coordinates non-clinical quality services and documentation.
Works under general supervision.
Responsibilitieso Responds to customer questions concerning service.
o Completes inquiry and intake forms for all service requests.
o Selects appropriate staff for all cases, in conjunction with the Clinical Manager.
o Notifies clinical management of new cases and/or changes in patient status on a timely basis.
o Documents all patient related conversations, including reason for discharge, on all private pay professional service.
o Monitors performance of staff to ensure delivery of service as agreed upon with client and compliance with all corporate policies, state regulations and accrediting body standards.
o Identifies and resolves issues which affect service delivery through on-going communication with Field Supervisors, private pay patients, and clinical management staff.
o Submits required documents to ensure that staff are paid accurately and clients are billed accurately.
o Participates in the development and implementation of procedures which maximize operational efficiencies.
o Participates in the Quality Assurance program as directed by Quality leadership.
o Ensures schedules are updated on a timely basis.
Ensures accuracy is maintained.
o Performs all duties inherent in a supervisory role.
Ensures effective staff training, interviews candidates for employment, evaluates staff performance, and recommends hiring, promotions, salary actions and terminations, as appropriate.
o Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
QualificationsLicenses and Certifications:
License and current registration to practice as an LPN in New York State Required Education:
High School Diploma or completion of LPN Program RequiredWork
Experience:
Minimum of two years of work experience as an LPN Required Supervisory experience Preferred Experience distributing work assignment Required Excellent customer service and organizational skills Required Demonstrated strong problem-solving ability Required Strong communication skills, including written and verbal Required Recommended Skills Clinical Works Coordinating Customer Service Leadership Problem Solving Quality Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
